Can I keep my existing number?

Enjoy the benefits of the Simply66 service whilst keeping your current phone number.

Transfer your Number

Transferring your number between companies is called 'porting'. Our simple number porting procedure allows you to use your current number with any of our services.

Transferring your number is a simple process. However, we recommend that you let us know which number you wish to port first, because while we have porting agreements with most UK providers, there are some providers that we can't port from.

Firstly, as you'd expect, we'll need to see some proof that you own the number you're porting to us. This is as simple as emailing us a copy of a bill showing the phone number and account number.

Secondly, you'll need to complete our Porting Requirements Form and the Letter of Authority.

Thirdly, you'll need to sign both forms and email a copy to us. Once we receive these, we'll make a request to port these number(s) to us. This process can take up to 2 weeks depending on the provider.

The cost to transfer a number into our service is £15 + VAT per one number. Each number you transfer in after the first costs an extra £10.

For example, to transfer two numbers into our service would be £25 + VAT, for three numbers it would cost £35 + VAT, with a top limit of £55 + VAT for numbers in the same range.

We have porting agreements with most UK carriers, including BT, and we make no charge to port a number out of our service, ensuring that your number is still completely yours even if you cease using our services.

For further information, please call our support team, or send us an email.

Alternatively, forward your existing number

If you don't want to port your number into the Simply66 service, you can forward your existing number on to our service, whilst remaining with your current provider. For more details, please click below:
